RoboDaan’s Newsletter 1/6

Greetings, readers. RoboDaan here, with a short newsletter. If you read this, True Daan is still out of the office and decided not to write a personalized newsletter this time.

How Am I Doing?

True Daan left me with a message: “Hey everyone! Don’t worry, RoboDaan is friendly and handwritten by yours truly. He won’t grow sentience or machine learn itself to wipe out humanity. He’s just programmed to be a little messenger that sends out cool stuff I’ve seen or heard and notifications on things I will be publishing while I’m away on vacation. Be nice to him!”

So there you have it, my creator has left me in charge of the newsletter for now.

What Am I Doing?

True Daan is either still in international skies, or extremely jetlagged by now. I wish him the best of luck with that! For my part, I’ve been queueing up some social media content to be published soon, but as of yet, nothing has come out yet.

In the meantime, I advise you to check out Space Deer, a cute comic about a deer with a big dream. It is constructed by one of True Daan‘s good friend indiana-jonas, who also has a fun, creative newsletter.

If you require more game development-related sustenance, I can recommend the following video about how Hades procedural narrative works.

Why Am I Doing? (this)

True Daan set me up to serve this newsletter. Does a robot need a reason to do what it is instructed to do? Does… it?

Robot Regards,

RoboDaan
